Sandro Malquori has over 30 years of experience in the Energy Industry, including Oil & Gas, Power Generation, and Renewables.
From managing multi-billion-dollar portfolios at GE Oil & Gas and Prysmian Group to spearheading the turnaround and commercial strategy at PetrolValves.
He is currently the CEO of PetrolValves Group. Appointed to his current role in Q4 2022, he has led the business through a period of significant growth. He holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering and has completed executive leadership courses in Europe, Asia and USA.
Andrea de Grenet

Andrea de Grenet has over 30 years of Finance experience in the Energy Industry, including Oil & Gas, High Tech, Software and Audit in a big 4.
From managing Finance in Private Equity Portfolio Companies, Public Companies to spearheading the financial turnaround strategy at PetrolValves.
He is currently the CFO of PetrolValves Group. Appointed to his current role in Q1 2023, he has led the Finance and Legal functions through a period of significant growth. He holds a master’s degree in business administration, certified public accountant and has completed Financial assignment in Europe and USA.
Federico Bordin

Federico Bordin has over 15 years of experience in the Energy Industry, including Oil & Gas, Power Generation, and Hydrogen.
He has held senior leadership roles in engineering, operations, and product development across Europe and Asia, with a strong focus on execution and technical excellence, actively participating in API working groups.
He is currently Chief Operating Officer at PetrolValves Group, where he oversees Engineering, Quality, Project Management, Production, and Procurement functions.
He holds a master’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano.
Michele Ferrante

Mechanical Engineer, graduated with honors at Politecnico of Milan, Michele Ferrante has
strong technical background in turbomachinery and control valves design & engineering, and know-how in global operations.
He joined PetrolValves Group in 2017 with the mission of developing the operations of the newly formed Control Valves division (VSI Controls).
Appointed in 2022 to his current role as General Manager of the Services Business Unit, he leads the Service Operations, including the foreign facilities and the VSI Controls P&L.
Miguel Vallcorba Piera

Miguel Vallcorba Piera is a passionate commercial leader with over 30 years of experience in the energy market. He brings strong expertise in sales and team leadership within the valve industry. His career includes executive roles at VP and CCO level, having lived and worked abroad for more than a decade across multiple regions worldwide, where he successfully drove profitable business growth in Europe, Latin America, APAC, and the Middle East. He has served as Chief Commercial Officer of the PetrolValves Group since 2022. Miguel holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is fluent in five languages and, together with his wife, has two sons.
Mauro Tiraboschi

Mauro Tiraboschi is Group Chief HR & Communication Officer of PetrolValves Group. He has over 25 years of international experience in organizational development, industrial relations, and corporate transformation across the energy, engineering, and investment sectors.
Before joining PetrolValves, he held senior HR leadership roles at Trevi, Angel Company, Tenova, and GE Oil & Gas. Mauro holds an M.S. in Social and Organizational Psychology from the University of Padua and has served as a visiting professor at the University of California, Santa Barbara. More recently, he completed executive programs at Yale University and Columbia University
