PetrolValves prevents the risks arising from liability pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/2001 through the adoption and effective implementation of a specific organization, management and control model (“the Model”) throughout its entire organization.

The Model is a structured and organic system of guidelines and control activities, to be carried out also and mainly in a preventive manner and in such a way that it cannot be violated except by fraudulently circumventing its provisions.

The Model is aimed at:

• identifying sensitive processes
• defining specific protocols for the decision-making process related to sensitive activities
• introducing a disciplinary system in case of violations of the Model

The Group Code of Ethics is an integral part and fundamental element of the Model.

The Model was adopted in 2014 and is periodically updated to incorporate the organizational and process changes and the new types of offenses that from time to time expand the scope of application of Legislative Decree 231/2001.
