Alkylation/HF Acid
PetrolValves have a great long history of providing Gate, Globe and Check valves for Alkylation / Hydrofluoric Acid service to refineries around the world.
For decades, we have been listed on the Authorized Approval List of UOP and ConocoPhillips (formerly Phillips).
Today, we are pleased to confirm we are on UOP’s Authorized Approval List.
Our internal and external fire safe designs carry several options to suit the fluid and operational philosophy of the HF unit. Our designs employ the use of Monel K 500 for stems and wedges for increased strength and to ensure long service life and the best operational performance.
Quality: All HF valves are tested at each stage of production: RT, UT and visual testing to verify pressure vessel integrity and suitability of components. Finished valves are tested with helium to verify conformance to our high standards, then tested according to API 598 standards using Kerosene and compressed air for all seat seal and body shell tests.
